Chaplain (COL) Richard Koch

Alaska National Guard

Chaplain (COL) Rick Koch, a resident of Alaska for 25 years, was sworn in the Alaska Army National Guard (AKARNG) as a Chaplain (1LT) on 21 August 1996.  Throughout his military career he served as chaplain for several AKARNG units including two combat deployments.  Chaplain Koch currently serves as the State Command Chaplain supporting chaplain programs throughout the Alaska Army and Air National Guards for The Adjutant General of the State of Alaska providing spiritual and moral guidance to the senior leadership and service members of the Joint Forces Headquarters.
